The part that decides the project

Battery life is the spec a wearable is judged on, and it is decided by firmware duty-cycling — how often the PPG samples, how long the radio stays awake, how aggressively the display sleeps. A watch that measures well and lasts two days loses to one that measures adequately and lasts ten.
